When did you start working for COUNTRY?
I started working at COUNTRY April 30, 2007. Born and raised in Chicago, I’ve lived here all of my life (except for the four years I spent at Illinois State University). After working in this industry for other organizations, I began seeking opportunities that were a better fit for my career goals. I wanted to be able to provide a wider range of insurance and financial solutions to my clients. I recognized COUNTRY Financial as a reputable company with a great mix of highly rated products and services and thought, “that sounds like a great fit for me.”
What do you love most about this career?
As I said previously, having that wide range of highly rated products – both on the insurance and financial services side – really drew me to this career. I love being able to help my clients achieve their own levels of financial security by protecting what they have now and securing their goals and dreams for the future.
What do you love most about COUNTRY?
The thing I love most about working at COUNTRY is the support I get to run my business. I have access to a team of experts who make my job easier by allowing me to focus on building relationships with my new and existing clients. Since we have such a large range of products and services, I am able to help my clients protect what they have and build for the future. People need our professional expertise now more than ever in order to build and protect their assets – and helping them achieve financial security is the best part of my job.
Any advice for new financial representatives?
There will be challenging months along with the successful ones. Don’t get discouraged – keep working hard and don’t give up. It pays off, I promise!
