Requirements of the Career

To be qualified for the financial representative career, candidates must:

1. Have an initial investment of $1,000 to $1,300 to obtain state Life/Health and Property/Casualty Insurance licenses as well as Series 6 and 63 Securities licenses (upon hire). Note: If you already have some of these licenses your initial investment will be lower. If you are already fully licensed there is no initial investment up front.

2. A bachelor’s degree or at least 3 years of outside sales experience is preferred.
